At Custom Builders, we've refined the Design + Build process to create a seamless experience for our clients. Rooted in industry best practices, our approach encompasses everything from transparent client communication to employing the latest construction techniques.
Step 1: Contact Us
Call, send us a message, or fill out the design survey. Whatever works best for you.
Step 2: FREE Showroom Consultation
In this initial 45 to 90 minute meeting, we aim to understand your vision for your new home. We'll discuss your goals, preferences, and any concerns you may have. While we won't delve into every detail, our objective is to provide a preliminary project estimate by the end of the session. Should this estimate align with your budget, we'll proceed to formalize our agreement through a Service Assessment Agreement.
Step 3: Floorplan Design
Choose the service that best suits your needs:
Option 1 - Custom Builders Existing Floorplan Modification
Modify one of our existing floorplans to fit your requirements. This service includes two initial reworks of the floorplans at no extra cost. We'll then conduct a budget review to ensure alignment.
Cost: $500*
Option 2 - Custom Floorplan Design
Work closely with our in-house Draftsperson to create tailored main and lower-level floorplan layouts. This service includes the initial draft and two additional reworks at no extra charge.
Cost: $2,000*
Step 4: Roof Design, Elevations, Section Views, 3D Renderings
Collaborate with our Draftsperson to develop detailed roof designs, section views, elevation drawings, and 3D renderings. This phase includes the initial draft and two additional reworks.
Cost: $1,000*
Step 5: Cabinetry Design Service
At the heart of our business lies cabinetry design. Our dedicated Designers will work with you to create customized designs that align with your home's aesthetic and functionality needs. This service includes two initial design reworks at no additional cost.
Cost: $1,500* (credited upon contract signing with Custom Builders)
Step 6: Project Planning & Selections
This phase involves creating a detailed proposal and specifications, outlining the project's scope of work and associated costs. It encompasses site reviews, compliance assessments, material selections, trade partner coordination, and more. Upon completion, you'll receive a guaranteed project cost, eliminating the uncertainties of typical estimates.
Cost: $1,500* (credited upon contract signing with Custom Builders)
Step 7: Construction
Witness the realization of your dream as we break ground on your custom home. Throughout the construction process, Custom Builders will keep you informed and engaged, ensuring that our craftsmanship meets your expectations down to the finest detail.
